Thank you for your interest in attending a Spartanburg HR Association (SHRA) meeting. We are excited to meet you and hope the meeting offers knowledge and fellowship.

SHRA is a local chapter affiliate of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) chapter, and all members are members of both SHRM and SHRA.

To attend a meeting, please pre-register as either a Member, Student, Retiree or Non-Member. This allows us to properly plan for the meal, speaker and room setup, etc.

  • Members have two options to prepay for the meeting at the beginning of the year ($120) OR pay per meeting ($15)
  • The Student and Retiree prepay rate is $15 per meeting/meal.
  • The Non-Member prepay rate is $25 per meeting/meal.

   Please note: Most meetings offer one (1) hour SHRM and HRCI credit toward continuing education requirements.

1.  View the Membership Categories page to determine your membership type and view dues amounts.

2.  Read the Solicitation policy. Our solicitation policy is enforced. SHRA prohibits solicitation of members other than approved sponsorship activities. All members are asked to report incidences of solicitation that violate our policy to the chapter at [email protected]

3. Read the Guest policy.

4.  Send completed membership applications to [email protected].  Our application can be found on the leftside of the page.  We are working on setting up an online application and hope to have it up and running in early 2020.  In the meantime, you would simply download the pdf, complete, and then send back to us.

5.  Your application will be reviewed and processed within 30 days. You will be notified of your membership status as soon as possible.   Prior to receiving approval notification from SHRA, please register for membership meetings as a non-member (same price).

6. Your login and password will become active after your membership is approved.  Upon receiving your Welcome Email, please set up your account and you will be prompted to pay your dues.
