Membership Categories

Types of Membership:

Professionals: Individuals that are fully engaged in human resource management.  As a Professional, you are either a SHRM member, which means you also have a membership with SHRM.  Or, you are a non-SHRM member, which means you only have a local membership with us or another affliate chapter.  Those who are members of SHRM receive a discount on their annual dues for SHRA.

Retirees: Individuals who are retired from active full-time employment in the human resource profession. Such members do not pay annual dues or meeting fees. Retired members may vote and hold office in the Chapter.

Students: Students enrolled in an accredited college or university where the course of study’s primary emphasis is human resources. Student members may not vote or hold office in the Chapter.  Student members may serve on the Board if appointed by the President, but only in a non-voting advisory capacity.

Annual Membership Dues:
SHRM Member          $35.00 
Non-SHRM Member  $50.00 
Retired Member         no charge
Student Member        no charge

Meeting Fees (in addition to Annual Membership Dues):
Prepaid Meeting Fees for Full Year (9 meetings*)   $100.00
Pay by the Meeting (payable during online registration process)        $12.00

*We do not currently charge for our Membership Appreciation or our Holiday party and we do not hold a meeting for the month of July.
